Terms of Service
Last updated 15 September 2026
1. About these terms
The Next Role is operated by Auro Interface Pty Ltd (trading as TheNextRole), and you are contracting with Auro Interface Pty Ltd. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate details. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us straight away if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of your CV and anything else you upload. You grant us a licence to store and process that content solely to operate the service — reading your CV, matching it to job ads, scoring the fit and generating the documents you ask for. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
4. Job listings and matching
Job advertisements are supplied by third parties. We do not control their accuracy, availability or the hiring decisions of employers. Match scores, skill gap analysis and recommendations are generated automatically and are guidance only — they are not career, legal or financial advice, and they do not guarantee an interview or a job.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Free, Pro (A$9.90 per month) and Premium (A$49.90 per month) plans are available. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our 30-day money-back guarantee.
6. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
7. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, resell or bulk-extract listings, upload someone else's personal information without their consent, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful or discriminatory.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the service available but provide it "as is". To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for the affected period. Nothing here excludes rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Ending your access
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. On closure we delete or de-identify your CV data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will note the date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions? Use the Contact page.
